James Black Management is delighted to announce that the soprano Ruby Hughes will be joining the BBC New Generation Artist for 2011 / 2013. The scheme offers young artists opportunities to
work with BBC orchestras, commission new repertoire, make broadcasts from significant venues such as the Wigmore Hall and perform at some of the UK's most renowned festivals. As part of its commitment to
nurturing young talent, the BBC invites eight artists onto the scheme every Autumn for two years. Their recordings form a pivotal part of BBC Radio Three's broadcasting, from both live performances and studio
recordings. (Ruby won the HSC 2009)
Anna Devin has recently become a member of the Jette Parker Young Artist Programme at the Royal Opera House, London. Since starting, she
