Wonderful performances at St George's Hanover Square produced a very exciting Final.

Craxton Studios - 14 Kidderpore Avenue, NW3 7SU Bus from Portman Street, just off Oxford Street - 82/13/113 Get off at Burrard Road, near junction with top of Fortune Green Road. You will have passed Finchley Road underground station and Camden Arts Centre Craxton Studios is next to St Luke's Church and at the top end of Kidderpore Avenue where it joins Platts Lane.
The LHS does not organise rehearsals or rehearsal space for this Round before the day of the Round. Singers need to discuss rehearsals with their accompanists.
Semi-Final Wednesday 24 February 6.15pm (please note change of time) St George's Church, Hanover Square This round is open to the public.

Accompanists will be allocated to singers by the organisers and a schedule will be sent round to all those taking part in the Competition.

Bursary towards travel costs There is a small travel bursary available to singers who get through to the Semi-Final of the Handel Singing Competition 2010. This applies to singers living outside the United Kingdom only.
The maximum bursary is £250 and there will be 6 available this year. For more information please contact Catherine Hodgson.

The Handel Singing Competition was inaugurated in 2002 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the London Handel Festival. This annual competition is for young professional singers aged between 23 and 34.
The Society has always helped talented young singers by giving them performing opportunities throughout the thirty year history of the Festival. Many have gone on to very successful careers – Thomas Allen, Ian Partridge, Janet Baker, John Shirley-Quirk, and Emma Kirkby to name but a few. |
